Newest Smashburger Location Ready To Open In Naperville

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville residents will find it easier to get their hands on a juicy Smashburger once the chain's newest location opens Friday on Showplace Drive. The opening marks the sixth Illinois restaurant for Smashburger.

As the name implies, Smashburger is known for its burgers, billed as 100 percent Angus beef and smashed to brown the exterior and crisp the edges while cooking. Diners can nosh on single or double burgers, bacon brisket burgers, turkey burgers or black bean burgers.

The menu at Smashburger also features grilled and crispy chicken sandwiches, salads and an array of sides that run the gamut from traditional fries and sweet potato fries, to crispy brussels sprouts.

There are plenty of milkshake options to accompany your meal, including vanilla, chocolate and strawberry, or inventive flavors like salted caramel, peanut butter and mocha coffee.

Located at 2736 Showplace Dr., Smashburger's new Naperville location will temporarily have special hours in place when it first opens, the website said. These hours will be Friday and Saturday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

As the store preps to open, they are hiring cashiers and daytime cooks. Interested applicants can visit the store for an interview or click the link to apply to work at Smashburger.

The Naperville store's opening comes shortly after Smashburger opened its Orland Park store. The chain, which has hundreds of locations throughout North America and Canada, also plans to expand to Oak Brook soon.
