Nike Sports Complex Plans: Residents Invited To 2nd Open House

NAPERVILLE, IL — Residents can attend another open house to learn more about what the Naperville Park District has planned for its upgrades to Nike Sports Complex. This second open house will be held June 18.

Park district officials plan to use public input to apply for an Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) grant in late summer or early fall, according to an update.

Some improvements under consideration include expanding the complex's asphalt trail loop and building a challenge course on the property.

An initial meeting was held on May 22 to gather input from residents on the project, which will mark the first significant renovations to Nike Sports Complex in more than a decade.
