North Central's Theatre presents 'The Wolves' | April 27-30
Centering around a competitive female soccer team, it gives an honest & sympathetic study of what it feels like to be an adolescent girl.
WHAT: Join the North Central College Department of Theatre for a Pulitzer Prize finalist performance of "The Wolves" by Sarah DeLappe. The show also received the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize and was named as a Critic's Pick by the New York Times.
First produced in 2016, "The Wolves" centers around a group of teenage girls tackling life's problems, ranging from politics to periods. Full of light-hearted teenage shenanigans and heavily emotional scenes, the play presents young women going through the process of growing up and showcases the importance of sisterhood.

Meet nine teenagers from a competitive soccer team--it's just a few weeks until nationals and the pressure is on. As long as they're playing together, any confusion off the field can be ignored. But this is just the warm up. From Harry Potter to the Khmer Rouge, from ambition to abortion, "The Wolves" is about life, love, and loss on and off the AstroTurf.
