• Bellwood man found guilty in 2021 Naperville murder (nctv17.org) — A Bellwood man has been convicted of first-degree murder for a 2021 shooting during a gun sale in a Naperville parking lot on Amersale Drive. Jurors found he fatally shot 18-year-old Coreon Davis and injured another person before fleeing, and he now faces 45 years to life in prison, with sentencing set for late October in DuPage County.
   

• Dylan Healy gives Naperville North boys soccer a late win over Waubonsie (nctv17.org) — Naperville North's boys soccer team stayed perfect in conference play with a late long-range goal from Dylan Healy to edge Waubonsie Valley 1-0 on the road. Solid goalkeeping and missed chances kept the match scoreless until the final minutes, helping the Huskies remain undefeated as the postseason approaches and giving local fans another strong performance to follow.
