​Patterson Elementary School Takes Over McDonald's For McFun For

Naperville|Principal Michele Frost, teachers, and support staff from Patterson Elementary School in Naperville volunteered behind the counter on Tuesday, August 27, at the Naperville McDonald's located on Route 59, where they served students and their families in their second annual fundraiser.
Students were thrilled to see their favorite teachers outside of the classroom at an event to raise money for their school.

Principal Frost with the help of staff member Roxanne Lee danced around the restaurant encouraging students to purchase a hot apple pie while teachers tended the front counter, served ice cream and presented delicious food at the drive-thru.

The proceeds from the 228 apple pies sold will be used to help support the P.B.I.S. program at the school. Twenty percent of the proceeds from the McTeacher's Night sales were donated directly to Patterson Elementary School.

All in all, it was an outstanding evening filled with joy. It was all made possible by Patterson Elementary School and the wonderful support from their families, students, and staff.

"Thank you to McDonald's for letting our teachers turn the restaurant into McPatterson for a few hours. It was so fun!!" said Principal Michele Frost at the end of the night.
