“Pennies for Pies” Drive Provides 120 Pies for Loaves & Fishes

Naperville Park District patrons and preschool classes donated enough money to purchase 120 pumpkin pies to support the Loaves & Fishes Community Services 2018 Thanksgiving dinner initiative for families in need. Park District staff thanks everyone who contributed.

“These pies are coming at a great time since we have been extremely busy distributing holiday meals,” said Eric Gardner, director of philanthropy for Loaves & Fishes. “Last week we served more than 850 families and will do so again this week. These pies have been garnering reactions of joy and delight from our clients. It is that little something extra they are so excited to have.”
