Police To Offer Free Women's Self-Defense Classes In Naperville
The classes, which will be held in April, will teach women the basics of self-defense.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville Police are offering two free self-defense classes for women in April. The classes are part of the police department's ongoing A Safer Naper project.
During the classes, which will be conducted at Safety Town, 1320 Aurora Ave., students will learn the basics of self-defense and will have an opportunity to ask questions.
There's no cost to attend the classes, but students must register ahead of time to secure a spot and must also sign a waiver in order to participate.

The class schedule is as follows:
- Tuesday, April 10 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
- Thursday, April 12 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
