Raising Cane's To Open Naperville Location
The Louisiana chain promises they never freeze their chicken. The first customers will get free Cane's for a year.

NAPERVILLE, IL -- Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers, the Baton Rouge-based chain, is opening its third location in the region Tuesday, with a ribbon cutting at 9 a.m. The chain has two locations in North Riverside and Oak Lawn, but they continue to expand.
The event's Facebook page says it is offering free Cane's for a year to the first 20 paying customers at tomorrow's opening. The event details on the page read "Join us for the grand opening of our newest Raising Cane's! The first 20 paying, dine in customers ages 13 and older win FREE CANE'S FOR A YEAR, and the first 100 will receive a custom T-shirt commemorating the opening, plus a Free Box Combo for their next visit."
Anna Ball is the company marketing adviser. According to a Naperville Sun interview, she said "we have a very focused menu with high-quality products... (Our food) is always marinated for 24 hours. It's never frozen. It does take four to six minutes to get your order. We make our Cane sauce – it's tangy with a little bit of spice. It's a product that stands out competitively."

We talked to Ball. When asked "Why Naperville?" she cited a study claiming Naperville is the second-best community in America, with Naperville having topped the list in the past. "We know it's a great place to be. A lot of people are excited about it."
Free food for a year is naturally attractive to patrons. One Facebook comment on the event page read "I'm assuming we have to start camping out on Sunday to be one of the first 20 customers LOL!"
