Rep. Sean Casten To Host Education Town Hall In Naperville
Casten plans to talk about the priorities for education he plans to pursue in Congress.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Rep. Sean Casten (D-IL,6) will make a special trip from Capitol Hill to Naperville to discuss educational policies Saturday. The congressman will talk about his plans to help make college more affordable and to help increase funding for students in grades Kindergarten through high school, according to a press release from his staff.
Casten's constituents will also have a chance to ask questions and raise concerns about other issues during the town hall.
The meeting will be held from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 26 at North Central College in the Wentz Science Center-Stevenson Hall, 131 S. Loomis St., Naperville.

Casten, who is the first Democrat to represent Illinois's 6th District in more than 40 years, faces a challenge from former gubernatorial candidate and Wheaton native Jeanne Ivesin the 2020 primaries. Casten's erstwhile challenger, Evelyn Sanguinetti, recently announced her withdrawal from the race.
