NAPERVILLE, IL — The Halloween season is upon us, which means there will be plenty of eerie activities for Naperville families to take part in. Here's a quick roundup of some kid-friendly Halloween activities you'll find in Naperville.

Halloween Light Tours By Trolley

Trolley rides take you from Aurelio's at 1975 Springbrook Square past homes decked out with Halloween decorations on the city's south side. Both public and private trolley tours are available through Oct. 31. Click the link to learn more about Naperville's Halloween trolley tours.

Pumpkin Palooza

9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 26 at DuPage County Children's Museum

Kids are invited to dress up in costumes and bring along a pumpkin to decorate at the museum's DIY Pumpkin Maker Space. The festivities include live music and other interactive stations, including one at which kids can play with pumpkin insides.

Safety Town Trick-or-Treat and Food Collection

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 26 at Safety Town

Kids can trick-or-treat for a good cause at Safety Town on Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come in costume and be sure to bring along a non-perishable food item and $1 donation. Donations benefit Loaves and Fishes Community Services. The event will feature candy, stations with fun activities, and local businesses gifting toys and other goodies.

Fall Festival at Naperville Plaza

12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 26 at Naperville Plaza

Costumed kids can meet and greet animals at a petting zoo, get glitter tattoos, and snap memorable pics in a photo booth. Trick-or-treating opportunities will also be available at Naperville Plaza stores.

Naperville Halloween Hop

10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Oct. 27 in downtown Naperville

Kids can trick-or-treat at dozens of downtown Naperville businesses while testing out their Halloween costumes. Start off at Main and Jefferson to get a top-secret map of all the participating businesses and attractions. Then, take advantage of free trolley rides to ferry you from stop to stop.
