School Closings: Some Districts Cancel School Wednesday Due to Extreme Cold
Local schools are announcing closings due to bitter cold temps forecast for Wednesday.

With bitter cold temperatures and dangerously low wind chill values in the forecast Wednesday, schools throughout the Chicago suburbs will be closed.
Here is a look at some of those closings as of 7 p.m. Tuesday:
- District 155 in Crystal Lake: Closed on Wednesday
- District 127 in Grayslake: Closed on Wednesday
- Community Unit School District 200 (Wheaton-Warrenville): Closed on Wednesday
- Indian Prairie School District 204 in Naperville: Closed on Wednesday
- Naperville Community Unit School District 203: Closed on Wednesday
- Township High School District 211 in Palatine: Closed on Wednesday
- Township High School District 214 in Arlington Heights: Closed on Wednesday
- School District 25 in Arlington Heights: Closed on Wednesday
- District 26 in Cary: Closed on Wednesday
- District 300 schools: Closed on Wednesday
- District 46 schools in Grayslake: Closed on Wednesday
- District 47 schools and extended time programs: Closed on Wednesday
- District 70 schools in Libertyville: Closed on Wednesday
- District 158 schools: Closed on Wednesday
