Aurora, IL - Darlene Senger, State Representative and candidate for the Illinois 11th Congressional District, toured the Caterpillar facility in Aurora today as she continued her jobs tour throughout the 11th District.
The Caterpillar facility in Aurora is one of the largest employers in the 11th District. The plant has been in operation since 1958 and manufactures wheel loaders and compactors.
“It was great to see such an important manufacturing facility and to experience all that they do first-hand. The scale and efficiency of their operations is truly amazing,” said Senger.

“Once elected I will continue to work to help create local jobs by reducing burdensome regulations and will make sure our employers, like Caterpillar, have the skilled labor force they need to succeed in the ever growing global economy.”
Since April Senger has been touring the district talking to employers, managers and employees to discuss the business climate in Illinois and the country. She will continue meeting with local business people in the district to discuss issues on how to grow the economy and create jobs.

As a State Representative, Darlene Senger has earned accolades for her work to hold the line on taxes and promote job creation in Illinois. Recently, the Illinois Chamber of Commerce awarded Darlene with their "Champion of Free Enterprise" Award for her legislative work to encourage job creation and economic expansion in Illinois and the National Federation of Independent Business honored Senger with their 'Guardian of Small Business Award' for her efforts to help small businesses in Illinois expand and succeed.
Darlene Senger is the Republican candidate for the Illinois 11th Congressional District. Senger has lived in Naperville for 20 years and before that resided in Clarendon Hills. Darlene is a graduate of Purdue University and received her MBA from DePaul University, having worked her way through school. Darlene's children, Eric and Michelle are graduates of Waubonsie Valley High School and the University of Illinois.
