'Several' Forced Entry Burglaries Reported In Naperville: Cops

The burglars often force their way into homes and steal cash or jewelry, police say.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Police in Naperville have responded to a number of home burglaries since the start of the New Year, according to a recent release from city officials. According to police, "several" of these incidents involved the burglars using forced entry to break into the homes.

Once inside the homes, the burglars are typically going after jewelry or cash, police said.

In the wake of these recent burglaries, Naperville Police are reminding residents to stay vigilant and keep doors and windows locked. They also recommend making sure the outside of your home is well-lit to help deter burglars.
