Sexual Predator Jailed for Failing To Register New Address
The Naperville man had moved from Joliet and didn't notify authorities.

A man who was previously convicted for a 2004-05 sexual molestation of a 12-year-old child was sentenced to three months in jail after he failed to notify authorities that he had moved.
David B. Kapus, 46, moved into a relative’s house on Naperville’s far east side, according to the Chicago Tribune. Kapus was formerly a resident of Joliet, living on the 800 block of Plainfield Road in Joliet. He was registered with the Joliet Police Department.
Investigators learned that Kapus had moved to a home on the 1800 block of Appaloosa Drive in Naperville from a telephone caller, the Tribune reported.
