The Naperville Park District’s 2017 Shakespeare in the Park program presents “As You Like It” at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 14 at the Riverwalk Grand Pavilion, located at 912 Sindt Court.

The talented actors of the Midsummer Theatre Troupe perform Shakespeare’s comedies in an engaging style that makes the language understandable and brings out the fun and laughter in the story for audiences of all ages.

As You Like It” is the story of the heroine, Rosalind, and her journey away from trouble to find temporary refuge in the Forest of Arden. Along the way, she meets many engaging characters and finds love as well.

This event is free to the public, thanks to the support of the Park District’s sponsors, including Naperville Newcomers and Neighbors Club, Country House, and Rose Pest Solutions.

“We’re excited to bring this free performance to the community at a new location this year,” said Program Manager Brittany Malatt. “The Riverwalk Grand Pavilion provides a picturesque setting with plenty of lawn space and parking.
