Sheryl Crow to Perform July 2 at Naperville's Ribfest

Nine-time Grammy winner Sheryl Crow will soak up the sun July 2 at Naperville’s Ribfest.

Crow has sold more than 35 millions albums worldwide, according to a press release from the Exchange Club of Naperville, which is putting on the festival.

Known for such hit songs as “My Favorite Mistake,” “Soak Up the Sun” and “Every Day is a Winding Road,” Crow has also performed duets with Sting, Kid Rock and Mick Jagger.

“Sheryl Crow is an American icon, and we are thrilled to add her to our lineup this summer,” 2016 Ribfest Chair Jen Odin Cavalier said in a press release. “Her incredible body of work and her musical talent is inspiring and it has made us all very happy to have her join our efforts to eliminate child abuse and domestic violence.”

The 29th annual Ribfest will be held from July 1-4 in Knoch Park in Naperville. Over the past 28 years, $14.5 million has been donated from Ribfest proceeds to more than 50 local agencies, all working to prevent and eliminate child and domestic violence.
