Shots Fired Incident Under Investigation In Naperville
Police say no one was injured, but people had been in the parked car when it was hit by gunfire.

NAPERVILLE, IL -- Naperville police are investigating a shots fired incident in which a gun was discharged and struck a car with people in it Friday. Police say no one was injured in the incident, which took place in the 100 block of East Bailey Rd.
Just after 6:30 p.m., police rushed to the scene where where the shots had been fired. They say an "unknown person" hit the parked car when the gun was fired. A preliminary investigation indicated that the incident was not a random act, police said in a press release.
