Singing Christmas Trees Make Up Elaborate Naperville Christmas Display

The display is synchronized to music and is lighting up the 1100 block of Conan Doyle Drive this Christmas season.

Nick Thomas of Naperville is back at it again.

Thomas just got done sharing his lighted Halloween before it became time to get his elaborate Christmas decorations in place at his home at 1127 Conan Doyle Drive, the Daily Herald reports.

And it is a sight to see. There are 30,000 lights and singing Christmas trees that are run through a computer-generated program, “which synchronizes each mouth movement and eye blink,” Thomas told the Daily Herald.

Thomas has been decorating his house for the past 19 years, and incorporates components of his Halloween display, which was a huge hit this year, into his Christmas display.

“The tombstones become Christmas trees and the mausoleum becomes Santa’s workshop and the funeral parlor becomes the house where Santa sits and greets all his kid friends,” Thomas told the Daily Herald.

Donations to this year’s display will go to My Joyful Heart, a Lockport-based that provides personalized assistance and encouragement for Chicago area and suburban children in need.
