Spot Dog Sculptures In Downtown Naperville This Summer

NAPERVILLE, IL -- It's not uncommon to see people walking their dogs in downtown Naperville when the weather is nice. This summer, though, visitors to downtown Naperville will be charmed by nearly two dozen hand-sculpted dogs that have mastered the "sit and stay" commands. The sculptures will be on display starting in June, Chicago Tribune reports.

The three-foot doggy sculptures will be painted by local artists who can be sponsored by local businesses and community members.

This summer, you can...spot...the dog sculptures (see what I did there?) on the following streets downtown:

• Main Street
• Washington Street
• Webster Street
• Chicago Avenue
• Water Street
• Jefferson Avenue
• Van Buren Avenue
• Jackson Avenue

The downtown Naperville dog sculptures will be on display until mid-September.
