Standard Market Opens Tuesday, Announces Menu for Cheese, Wine, Beer Bar

A new grocery store is set to open Tuesday in Naperville. 

Naperville Mayor George Pradel will participate in an 8 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Standard Market, 1508 Aurora Avenue, and afterward, the market and coffee shop will officially be open for business, according to the Standard Market Naperville Facebook page. 

And with the opening, the Standard Market is announcing the menu for its wine, beer and cheese bar, the CUBE, which will be available at the new Naperville location. 

In addition to new menu items such as escargot and a deluxe PB&J with chèvre, fig and black tea jam, the CUBE will also feature 12 beers on tap, a selection of wines handpicked by Standard Market’s wine experts and craft cocktails. 

Regular beverage tastings will be available throughout the week along with special classes on beer, cheese and wine including Standard Market’s popular “Beer 101” series.

The CUBE will seat approximately 110 guests, including a 60-seat covered patio for customers to enjoy the upcoming summer weather.

• PB&J—Local chèvre, fig & black tea jam, almonds, honey, Marketmade baguette
