Student Volunteers Receive Scholarships From Edward Foundation

The $2,000 scholarships were awarded to 10 student volunteers who put in time at Edward Hospital.

NAPERVILLE, IL — A group of student volunteers who help out at Edward Hospital recently received scholarships from the Edward Foundation to aid with their future studies. The $20,000 in scholarships was awarded to 10 students from high schools throughout the area who work to greet patients, deliver flowers and provide other services at the hospital.

The 2020 recipients are:

  • Raymond Tong of Naperville Central High School
  • Courtney Redey of Neuqua Valley High School
  • Meghana Mani of Neuqua Valley High School
  • Joanna Gao of Naperville North High School
  • Grace McCoy of Metea Valley High School
  • Manal Zaman of Metea Valley High School
  • Safa Zaman of Metea Valley High School
  • Emily Oakley of Naperville Central High School
  • Lydia Jun of Neuqua Valley High School
  • Steven Dai of Neuqua Valley High School

The students were recognized in an email for putting in time "behind the scenes" at Edward Hospital. Residents can click the link to donate to the Edward Foundation, which helps support Edward Hospital's health care initiatives.
