'Suspicious' Men Offer Child Ride Home From School In Naperville

NAPERVILLE, IL --- Naperville police are investigating what they call a "suspicious incident" in which two men offered a ride home to a child. The incident took place Tuesday near the intersection of 111th and 248th, not far from Crone Middle School, police say.

The men reportedly pulled up in a white pickup truck and offered the ride as the child was walking in the area during the afternoon. The child refused the ride and got home safely, according to police.

No description was available for the two men in the truck, but the truck was described as possibly having rust on its body.

Police are asking anyone who has information about or may have seen the truck or the men to call the Naperville Police Department at 630-420-6147.
