Sweetgreen Debuts 'Infinite Kitchen' At Downtown Naperville Store
The restaurant hosted its grand opening May 9 at 223 S. Main St., featuring its automated ordering technology for the first time.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Sweetgreen is now open for business in downtown Naperville, introducing its automated "Infinite Kitchen" technology for the first time. Diners can use self-service kiosks, fulfill orders via sweetgreen's app or place their orders with the restaurant's host before they indulge in fresh salads, warm, grain-based bowls and other items.
"We believe that automation will enable us to elevate the quality and integrity of our food while also providing a faster and more convenient experience for our customers and a better, more dynamic job for our team members, Jonathan Neman, CEO and co-Founder of sweetgreen said in a news release. "With the integration of the sweetgreen Infinite Kitchen in our restaurants, we can unlock efficiencies that will enable us to grow more quickly as we scale."
The menu at sweetgreen features salads as its main draw, with diners able to take their pick from such creations as the guacamole greens salad, a melange of roasted chicken, avocado and spring mix greens drizzled with a cilantro lime vinaigrette. Another popular choice is the super green goddess, which mixes chickpeas, roasted sweet potatoes, raw beets, spicy broccoli and other fresh veggies with green goddess dressing.
