Two Brothers Barrel House Set To Open Before May

NAPERVILLE, IL -- Two Brothers Brewing Company has been hard at work revamping their Naperville location into a new concept that is set to open before the end of April. Two Brothers Barrel House, which replaces The Craftsman and will occupy two floors of the space at 16 W. Jefferson Ave., will start serving up artisanal cocktails, craft beer, and American fare on April 29.

The Barrel House will also be the home for Two Brothers Artisan Spirits Company, a branch of the Aurora brewing company that specializes in handcrafted spirits. Diners at Two Brothers Barrel House can enjoy the distillery's own vodka, rum, and coffee liqueur, along with canned cocktails.

Two Brothers co-founder Jason Ebel said in a news release, "Our spirits have really taken off, so we need a home to highlight our products. Two Brothers Barrel House will showcase these products in a bunch of fun and creative ways." Expect the menu to spotlight inventive craft cocktails, vodka sodas, and more.

Handspun "adult milkshakes" infused with alcohol will round out the restaurant's extensive drink menu.

Eats at Two Brothers Barrel House will focus on Americana-inspired comfort food. Think barbecue ribs, fried chicken, and kid-friendly options.

The owners of Two Brothers say they envision the Barrel House as a "casual, family-friendly experience." Future plans include weekly live music and Bloody Mary brunches.

The family-owned Two Brothers Brewing Company got its start in 1996 as the brainchild of Jim and Jason Ebel. Since then, the Aurora-based brewery has become a nationwide name, with award-winning craft beers, diverse dining experiences, and now, hand-made spirits.

The brewery's Third Floor cocktail lounge will remain open and occupy the top floor of Two Brothers Barrel House.
