Wallet Thief Sought By Naperville Police, Reward Offered
Police say he stole the wallet while the victim was shopping at Mariano's.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville police are asking the public for help identifying a suspect who allegedly stole a woman's wallet from her purse at Mariano's in Naperville. Surveillance footage depicts the suspect looking into another woman's purse just after the theft, which took place on Aug. 25.
Police say the victim had left her purse unattended while she was shopping at the Mariano's at 1300 S. Naper Blvd. around 7 p.m. After the suspect allegedly stole the wallet, he exited the store and fled in a dark SUV.
Naperville police are asking anyone who witnessed the theft or has information to contact the investigations department at 630-420-6666. In addition, Naperville Crime Stoppers are offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest. You can call anonymously at 630-420-6006.
