Wolf's Crossing Named Outstanding Park By Illinois Park And Rec
Wolf's Crossing Park, which opened in May 2021, received an Outstanding Park Award from the Illinois Park and Recreation Association.
NAPERVILLE, IL — Wolf's Crossing Community Park officially opened in Naperville in the spring of 2021, but it's already garnering statewide recognition. The facility recently earned the Outstanding Park Award for park districts with operating budgets of $5 million or more from the Illinois Park and Recreation Association (IPRA).
“We are honored to receive a state award for this park, which already has become one of the District’s most visited parks,” Brad Wilson, the park district's director of recreation and facilities, said in a statement. Wilson will become Naperville Park District's new executive director Feb. 1 when current executive director Ray McGury is set to resign.
Located at 3252 Wolf's Crossing Rd., Wolf's Crossing Community Park features ice skating, a splash pad, sports courts and fields and a playground.
