Woman In Serious Condition After Being Hit By Car In Naperville

NAPERVILLE, IL — A 29-year-old Naperville woman was seriously injured Tuesday night when she was hit by a Dodge Ram driven by a 61-year-old Montgomery man, according to a news release from city officials. The crash took place just before 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of 5th Avenue and Royal Saint George Drive.

Police say the Dodge was headed north on 5th Avenue when it made a left turn on Royal Saint George Drive and hit the woman while she was crossing the street.

The crash closed the intersection until about 9 p.m. as members of Naperville's Traffic Unit worked to reconstruct the crash.
