• Terriers shine brightest at state track meet (bnd.com) — Nashville High School’s boys track athletes made the state leaderboard, with Sam Blumhorst taking second in Class 1A shot put and also placing in discus, and Gannon Turner finishing 12th in high jump. Their performances came as Carbondale and other Southern Illinois schools posted historic and strong showings at the state meet in Charleston.
