Arrests Made In 3 New Lenox Smash-And-Grabs As Mayor Blasts Governor & State For Approach To Crime (patch.com) — New Lenox officials say they've made arrests in three local smash-and-grab burglaries targeting businesses with video gaming, but warn crews are still hitting bars and cafes around town. Mayor Tim Baldermann and Police Chief Micah Nuesse describe how fast the burglars strike, the burden on local business owners to upgrade security, and their frustration with what they see as a soft-on-crime approach at the state level.
