Loved as a devoted "Poppa" and top local fundraiser for St. Baldrick's childhood cancer efforts, he is celebrated for his humor, love of music, and dedication to helping fellow veterans. A future Celebration of Life will honor his memory.

Liquor Store Targeted In Smash-And-Grab To Gaming Machines: New Lenox PD (patch.com) β New Lenox residents are being alerted after Route 30 Liquors on Maple Street was hit by a smash-and-grab targeting its gaming machines early last weekend. A witness reported three men fleeing in a vehicle, and officers arrived to find a shattered glass door and damaged machines, adding to a pattern of recent area burglaries.
