Car Slams Into Pole At Laraway And Schoolhouse, Driver Injured
A man was hospitalized Friday morning after the car he was driving slammed into a pole near Laraway and Schoolhouse roads in New Lenox.
NEW LENOX, IL - A driver was injured Friday morning when a car slammed into a pole near Laraway and Schoolhouse Road in New Lenox. New Lenox police are investigating the incident that was first reported around 7 a.m.
Sgt. Louis Alessandrini of the New Lenox Police Department confirmed there was a one car crash where the male driver lost control of the car "for reasons unknown at this time."
The driver was being treated for injuries Friday morning at Silver Cross Hospital. The extent of his injuries were not immediately known.

A live video from ABC-7 Chicago shows the car with heavy damage and well off the road. Laraway Road was closed to traffic at the time while the crash was being investigated.
Motorists may still want to avoid the area later Friday morning.
