Car Stolen, DUI: New Lenox Arrests

The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

May 28

• Paul Hughes, 35, of Hazel Crest, was arrested at 4:51 a.m. at Lincoln Highway and Gougar Road and charged with driving while license suspended and no proof of valid insurance.
• Gordon Neitzel, 56, of Romeoville, was arrested at 9:02 a.m. in the 200 block of West Haven and charged with theft.

May 29

• Logan Mckee, 24, of the 300 block of Charleston Drive, was arrested at 2:42 p.m. at Nelson and Spencer roads for possession of controlled substance (cocaine).
• Rhonda Redinger, 46, of Joliet, was arrested at 5:19 p.m. at Target, 2370 E. Lincoln Highway, and charged with retail theft.
• Kimberly King, 44, of Joliet, was arrested at 5:19 p.m. at Target, 2370 E. Lincoln Highway, and charged with retail theft.

May 31

• A broken iPhone was stolen from an unlocked car in the 700 block of Garadice Drive.
• A wallet was stolen from an unlocked car in the 2000 block of Cardinal Drive.
• A pair of baseball cleats was stolen from a car in the 2600 block of Meadow Path.
• A trailer was stolen from the 1500 block of West Lincoln Highway.
• Christen Jaltuch, 38, of the 2800 block of Cole Lane, was arrested at 4:45 p.m. at Delaney and Nelson roads and charged with DUI-alcohol and leaving the scene of an accident.

June 1

• A car was stolen from the 700 block of Tanager Lane and the spare key was found in an unlocked vehicle. The car was found unoccupied in Harvey on June 5.

June 2

• JC Hughes, 33, of Bourbonnais, was arrested at 7:17 a.m. at Haven Avenue and Cedar Road and charged with driving while license suspended and no proof of valid insurance.
• A garage door opener was stolen from an unlocked car overnight on May 31 in the 900 block of East Bentley Road.
• Cash was stolen from an unlocked car in the 2700 block of Genoa Drive.
• Jazminn Sykes, 26, of Joliet, was arrested at 8:21 p.m. at Lincoln Highway and Anderson Road and charged with driving while license suspended. Sykes also had a warrant from Will County.
