Car Stolen During Test Drive
A car owner said a potential buyer fled with the car after they stopped at a gas station on a test drive.

NEW LENOX, IL - A prospective car buyer in New Lenox stole the seller's car while the owner stopped at a gas station during a test drive.
Police were called to the Food & Fuel Gas Station near Cedar Road and Route 6 at 3:42 p.m. on March 12 after the car owner called and described what happened during a meeting with the potential buyer.
He told police that while he was out of the car at the gas station the offender stole the vehicle and fled the area.

Police have not reported on any arrest in the case and did not provide a description of the suspect.
