Cash Box Stolen From Pediatric Office: Cops

Three people turned themselves in on warrants at the New Lenox police station.

The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Burglary to Motor Vehicle

An officer was dispatched to the 18700 block of Spring Creed Street at 8:45 a.m. on Oct. 2 in reference to a burglary to motor vehicle. The complainant advised that unknown subject(s) entered their unlocked vehicle and removed a laptop computer and tools.

Criminal Damage to Vehicle

An officer was dispatched to the police station at 8:45 a.m. on Oct. 2 in reference to a criminal damage to vehicle report. The complainant advised that they discovered a hole in the side of their vehicle. The complainant indicated that the damage to the vehicle occurred while it was parked in the 400 block of E. Lincoln Highway the day prior.

Criminal Damage to Vehicle

An officer was dispatched to the police station at 6:36 p.m. on Oct. 7 in reference to a criminal damage to vehicle report. The complainant advised that an unknown subject(s) broke the driver’s side window to their vehicle.

Warrant Arrest

Joshua J. Krueger, 38, of the 1000 block of E. Illinois Highway was charged on an outstanding warrant at 1:05 p.m. on Oct. 2. An officer was dispatched to the police station in reference to a subject wishing to turn himself in on an outstanding warrant. The complainant, Krueger, informed the officer that he learned there was a warrant for his arrest for failure to appear in court. The officer confirmed the warrant.

Jessica C. Rajchel, 24, Lockport was charged on an outstanding warrant at 6:53 p.m. on Oct. 3 at Cass Street and Pembroke Avenue in Joliet. An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and learned that the driver, Rajchel, had an outstanding warrant for her arrest.

Wilbur H. Powers, 42, Crest Hill was charged on an outstanding warrant at 10:15 a.m. on Oct. 6. An officer was dispatched to the police station in reference to a subject wishing to turn himself in on an outstanding warrant. The complainant, Powers, informed the officer that there was a Will County warrant for his arrest for failure to appear in court. The officer confirmed the warrant.

Kathleen B. Connolly, 27, Homer Glen was charged on an outstanding warrant at 11:17 p.m. on Oct. 6. An officer was dispatched to the police station in reference to a subject wishing to turn herself in on an outstanding warrant. The complainant, Connolly, informed the officer that there was a Grundyl County warrant for her arrest for failure to appear in court. The officer confirmed the warrant.

Suspicious Subject

An officer was dispatched to Harris Bank, 110 W. Maple in reference to a suspicious subject at 1:27 p.m. on Oct. 2. The complainant advised that a subject was standing at the ATM in the drive thru area, attempting to use several different bank cards. The subject was gone prior to police arrival.

Theft

An officer was dispatched to New Lenox Pediatrics, 420 Nelson Road at 5:36 p.m. on Oct. 2 in reference to a theft. The complainant advised that petty cash box containing money was stolen from the business.

Vandalism

An officer was dispatched to the 800 block of Stacey Drive at 7:02 a.m. on Oct. 4 in reference to vandalism. The complainant advised that unknown subject(s) unlawfully entered onto a property under construction and committed acts of vandalism.
