Cigarettes, Cash Stolen During Speedway Burglary: Cops

NEW LENOX, IL -- The Speedway gas station at 301 W. Lincoln Highway in New Lenox was burglarized overnight on June 13, according to a police report.

Police responded to the business at 2:54 a.m. and found that the glass pane of the front door had been broken. Upon a further investigation, police learned that the offender stole money and cigarettes.

There was no mention of any surveillance footage in a report made public by police.
