Convicted New Lenox Thief Arrested At Walmart
The New Lenox Police Department filed criminal charges against resident Connor Triezenberg.

NEW LENOX, IL - The Will County State's Attorney's Office has filed felony retail theft charges against a New Lenox resident in connection with allegations he tried to steal merchandise from the Walmart store in New Lenox. Connor Triezenberg, 24, who lives in the 200 block of East Circle Drive, is accused of Class 4 felony retail theft. Prosecutors informed the Will County judicial system that Triezneberg is a convicted thief. He was convicted in 2016 in Will County Circuit Court of retail theft, court documents show.
According to the New Lenox man's latest criminal complaint, prosecutors for Will County say that Triezenberg "knowingly took possession of any merchandise offered for sale in a retail establishment, Walmart, located at 510 E. Lincoln Highway ... being DVDs, with the intention of retaining such merchandise without paying the full retail value of such merchandise."
Triezenberg was locked up in the Will County Jail between Aug. 18, 2017 and this past March 9 on charges of retail theft, driving under the influence of drugs and possession of controlled substances, jail logs show.

Will County prosecutors say that Triezenberg's latest retail theft case occurred on Aug. 9.
Last Friday, Sept. 7, a warrant was issued by the New Lenox Police Department for his arrest.
