Domestic Battery, Drug Possession: New Lenox Arrests

The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Nov. 1

• Yazmeen Ocampo, 23, of Lockport, was arrested at 1:18 p.m. at Lincoln Highway and Veterans Parkway and charged with possession of controlled substance.

Nov. 2

• Virginia Black, 32, of Joliet, was arrested at 9:43 p.m. in the 400 block of Nelson Road and charged with leaving the scene of an accident, driving while license suspended and no valid insurance. Black also had an outstanding Grundy County warrant.

Nov. 3

• Malina Kalina, 23, of the 2000 block of Finborough, was arrested at 11:34 p.m. in the 1900 block of Silver Cross Boulevard and charged with domestic battery.

Nov. 4

• Karen Burke, 47, of the 1200 block of Grand Mesa, was arrested at 4:50 a.m. in the 1200 block of Grand Mesa and charged with domestic battery.
• Someone drove a vehicle onto the football field at Walker Estates Park, 401 Lenox St. The grass was damaged.
