Drug Possession, Theft: New Lenox Arrests

The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Feb. 25

• Tyler Johnson, 25, of Chicago, was arrested at 8:22 p.m. at Kingston Drive and Washington Street and was charged with speeding, driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Feb. 27

• An unlocked car was entered in the 1000 block of Edmonds Avenue sometime overnight. Items, including a phone charger, were stolen.
• A wallet was stolen out of an unlocked vehicle parked in the 600 block of Lilas Court.

Feb. 28

• Corey Howard, 18, of Crete, was arrested at 4:46 p.m. in the 500 block of East Lincoln Highway and was charged with misdemeanor theft.

March 1

• Jessie Mitchell, 26, of New Lenox, was arrested at 7:47 p.m. in the 200 block of Woodlawn Road and was charged with possession of controlled substance.
• Matthew Gilbert, 24, of Carol Stream, was arrested at 7:47 p.m. in the 200 block of Woodlawn Road and was charged with possession of controlled substance.
