Drunk Mokena Driver Has No License: Complaint
Joseph Perritano has remained in the Will County Jail since last week.

NEW LENOX, IL - A 23-year-old resident of Mokena has remained in the Will County Jail since last week after police say he was driving drunk and crashed his Lincoln Navigator into a ditch in New Lenox. The Will County State's Attorney's Office has charged Joseph Perritano with two counts of aggravated driving under the influence, both felony crimes.
The criminal complaint states that Perritano's blood-alcohol concentration was 0.08 or more when he drove his vehicle into the ditch on Oct. 14, on the side of the Jackson Creek in New Lenox.
When New Lenox Police officers arrested Perritano he "did not possess a driver's license or permit or a restricted driving permit or a judicial driving permit or a monitoring device driving permit," the criminal complaint states.

Jail logs also indicate that Perritano was given traffic citations for transporting or carrying liquor as the driver and for failure to reduce his speed.
The Mokena man was booked into the Will County Jail around 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 14. His bail was set at $25,000. So far, he has been unable to come up with 10 percent to post bond.
