Easter Bunny Makes an Early Delivery at Silver Cross Hospital’s NICU

Hospital's tiniest patients steal the show ahead of their very first Easter

Hopping in ahead of schedule, the Easter Bunny made a surprise visit to the 24-bed Amy, Matthew and Jay Vana Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Silver Cross Hospital, where some of the hospital’s tiniest patients stole the show!

Babies spending their very first Easter in the NICU were dressed in adorable Easter outfits with tiny bunny ears, pastel bows, and mini springtime onesies, creating a scene so sweet it could have come straight from a storybook. Nurses, families, and care teams couldn’t help but hop into the fun, snapping photos and sharing warm moments together.

The early visit from the Easter Bunny added a special touch of joy for families navigating an emotional time. With giggles, smiles, and lots of “awws,” the unit was filled with a sense of celebration and hope – proving that even in the NICU, the spirit of the season finds a way to bloom.
