Emergency Rental And Mortage Assistance Available

Emergency Rental Assistance Grant Applications are now open through August 21st at https://era.ihda.org/. Depending on the volume of applications received, the application window may close early. Those who qualify are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.

Emergency Mortgage Assistance Grants are not open until August 24th at https://ema.ihda.org/. This website is under construction but the link encourages you to check back at 9 a.m. on the 24th.

Questions may be directed to the Illinois Housing Development Authority whose contact information is listed at the bottom of each website link. There is an FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section on the rental assistance link that provides additional information.
