Fidget Spinners Stolen From Circle K: Cops
A burglary was reported at a home under construction on Joela Drive: New Lenox police reports.

The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.
DUI
Alex M. Hakenjos, 25, of the 600 block of Vanderbilt Drive was stopped at Lincoln Highway and Roberts Road at 3:18 a.m. on June 24 and charged with a DUI. An officer was on patrol and observed a vehicle with an equipment violation. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and learned that the driver, Hakenjos, was under the influence of alcohol.

RETAIL THEFT
An officer was dispatched to the Circle K Gas Station at 471 Nelson Road at 4:06 p.m. on June 26 in reference to a complaint of retail theft. The complainant advised that someone stole a store display of approximately 15 fidget spinners.

Michael J. Skandera, 34, of Joliet was arrested at 3:38 a.m. on June 27 in the 300 block of W. Lincoln Highway. An officer was on patrol and observed a vehicle with its trunk open at Speedway Gas Station. The gas station was closed. The officer approached the vehicle and made contact with Skandera. The officer learned that Skandera was stealing 11 bags of pellet salt.
WARRANT ARREST
An officer was dispatched to the police station at 6:23 p.m. on June 27 in reference to a subject surrendering on an outstanding warrant. The officer met with Daniel J. Smith, 45, of the 2900 block of Horizon Trail and verified that he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of Will County for failure to appear.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO VEHICLE
An officer was dispatched to the police station in reference to a criminal damage to vehicle complaint at 9:08 p.m. on June 27. The complainant advised that while driving on Lincoln Highway a vehicle pulled up alongside them. The complainant advised that a subject from the vehicle threw an object at their car causing damage to their vehicle.
BURGLARY
An officer was dispatched to the 1900 block of Joela Drive in reference to a burglary at 9:53 a.m. on June 28. The complainant advised that an unknown subject(s) entered onto the site of a home being built and stole various items.
