Girl Scouts Earn Junior First Aid Badge
Girl Scouts visit American Red Cross in Chicago
New Lenox Girl Scout Troop 5195 recently attended Junior First Aid and Disaster Preparedness with FEMA at the American Red Cross in Chicago. The girls earned their Junior First Aid badge by learning basic first aid and how to prepare for disasters such as floods and tornadoes. They also met two therapy dogs who assist people and provide comfort to those affected by these disasters.
