Hannah Davis wins deciding match for Celtics

The Providence Celtics girls tennis team defeated Joliet Catholic on Thursday 3-2 in a very competitive match that went down to the wire.  Sophomore Hannah Davis (1st singles) won the deciding match going to the third set and winning 6-2 to give Providence the victory. Seniors Maggie and Kelly Ruane (1st doubles) defeated a very talented young freshman doubles team from JCA 6-4, 6-1. The other key win was earned by Marybeth Galick and Lizzie Eggen at second doubles.  JCA is much improved this year and will face off against Providence again on Saturday during the JCA Invitational.  Singles matches will be played at JCA with doubles matches at Providence.
