Heroin Arrest Made On Nelson Road In New Lenox
Police say they found heroin on a 28-year-old Chicago woman in her car early one morning.

NEW LENOX, IL - A 28-year-old woman from Chicago was charged with possession of a controlled substance in New Lenox on Aug. 16. Police made the charge against Cassandra C. Carnahan at 5:52 a.m. in a parking lot, according to a recent police report.
The report indicates an officer was on patrol and saw a vehicle in a parking lot in the 400 block of Nelson Road with its driver's side door open at 5:52 a.m. After the officer approached the vehicle, Carnahan was found to be in possession of heroin the report stated.
She was transferred to Silver Cross Hospital for evaluation.
