Joliet Teen Caught With Anxiety Meds and Pot: Police
The Joliet teen was driving around New Lenox with one headlight, police said.

A Joliet teen driving around New Lenox with only one headlight was carrying anxiety medication and marijuana, police said.
Shaquille Holmes, 19, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis, possession of drug equipment, and driving with one headlight.
Holmes was pulled over about 12:30 a.m. Friday near the junction of Route 30 and Interstate 80.

An “officer observed a vehicle with only one headlight and conducted a stop,” police said.
“The officer could detect the odor of cannabis and discovered that Holmes was in possession of cannabis and equipment used to smoke cannabis,” police said. “A subsequent search of Holmes revealed that he was in possession” of the anxiety medication alprazolam.

Holmes was taken to the Will County jail. He was released after he posted a $10,000 bond.
