Joliet Thief Caught Driving Through New Lenox With 1 Headlight: Cops

The wanted man was apprehended during a traffic stop on Route 30, police said.

A wanted Joliet man was apprehended during a Wednesday night traffic stop on Route 30.

Jesse J. Johnson, 21, was wanted on a warrant out of Lockport charging him with theft. An officer spotted him driving with one headlight about 9:15 p.m. and pulled him over on Route 30 near Gougar Road.

Johnson allegedly stole from Walmart.

Johnson was taken to the Will County jail. His bond was set at $150,000 and he remained in custody five days later.
