Lincoln Way Central Theatre Presents: Little Shop of Horrors

Lincoln Way Central students are ready to head downtown to Skid Row for Little Shop of Horrors. They perform on April 24th, 25th, and 26th at 7 PM. Tickets are available online at lwcmusic.org

"Little Shop of Horrors" follows Seymour, a nerdy florist, who discovers a strange plant he names Audrey II. Audrey II promises fame and fortune in exchange for blood, and Seymour feeds it to solve his struggles and improve his struggling flower shop. However, Seymour soon learns that Audrey II is an alien plant with sinister intentions, and he must confront his desire for success and the consequences of his actions.

The cast features Ryan Valecek (Seymour), Caroline Boss (Audrey), Béla Jackson (Audrey II), Murdoch Becker (Mr. Mushnik), Rhett Novotny (Orin), Bella Hallberg (Crystal), Madison Tyda (Ronnette), Maria Manzella (Chiffon), Emily Riebe (Darlene), Caroline Howey (Estelle), and Emily Filipiak (Gladys).

The production crew includes Director and Choreographer Liz Yerkovich, Assistant Director Heidi Drennan, Music Director Michael Bultman, Technical Director Nate Jackson, and Stage Manager Jacob Welker.

Not only will there be stunning dancing with amazing vocals and harmonies, but the audience can expect to see Audrey II come to life!

Bella Hallberg is a senior and has been doing theatre for a long time, and she feels that “Little Shop has been different than any other production purely because of my cast mates. Everyone is so incredibly dedicated to putting on a spectacular show, and getting to work with people who are just as passionate as I am when it comes to performing is such an amazing and rewarding experience.”
