Women's Self-Defense Class Sponsored By New Lenox Police
The class is Friday, March 16. There is no cost to attend, but registration is needed.
NEW LENOX, IL - The New Lenox Police Department is sponsoring a basic self-defense class for women on Friday, March 16. There is no cost to attend, and the purpose is to learn the basic skills on how to protect yourself. The instructor of the class is Master Jung and the class will be held at Jungs Champion Taekwondo, 2433 Joliet Highway in New Lenox. The event will run from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Although the event is free, the class will be limited to the first 40 women who sign up in advance. Women register by contacting Mary Bell of the New Lenox Police Department at mbell@newlenox.net.
New Lenox residents will be given first preference.
