Masked Kids Caught On Video Banging On, Breaking Window At New Lenox Home: NLPD

The incident happened Feb. 16 in the 2600 block of Meadow Path.

NEW LENOX, IL — A New Lenox homeowner called police after a group of kids were caught on camera banging on and breaking a window at their home, according to police reports.

New Lenox police were called Feb. 16 just before 8 p.m. to the 2600 block of Meadow Path, for a report of criminal damage to property. The homeowner told police that five juveniles had banged on the rear window of their home, and the window pane broke.

Security footage showed five people in face masks banging on the window, and the sound of glass breaking is audible.

The juveniles are then seen fleeing promptly after the glass break, according to police reports.

The incident is under review for further investigation or case closure.
